Kate came to me after I lost my husband. She helped me sort through everything in our apartment and turned it into my apartment again. She took care of me in one of the hardest times of my life that I’ve ever lived through. My home is so much nicer. Everything is organized and decorated for me. It makes me feel calm. I walk in and there’s no clutter and I love what I see.
Once we got the apartment aesthetically pleasing and functional, we moved onto my business. As a way of coping with my husband‘s death, I started a business where I build succulent gardens from the garden that he and I created in our front yard. Kate helped me put everything together and build the business from scratch. When I thought that I was done putting the plants together Kate swooped in, made them 90% better and taught me tricks to keep making the gardens. I don’t know what I would’ve done without her. Thank you, Kate.

I was knee-deep in the muck. I’d been stuck in a funk for years, and my friends told me about Kate and Satori Living. I didn't want someone to come into my home and judge me, but honestly, I was willing to try anything to get out of the mess I was in.

Kate was a breath of fresh air.
She never judged me. Instead, she showed up encouraging, kind and patient. She asked questions, and wanted to understand me and how I lived. I felt like she heard me and pulled me out of the muck onto the boat.
We came up with a game plan for healing my body and getting my home in order. After four sessions/ a week later - I had cleared out a truckload of stuff and completely organized my home, garage, storage unit, shed and made a home office.
And she made it fun.
Even when I was stress-eating chips, she didn't care - Kate understands PTSD, anxiety, and trauma - and how they can affect every part of your life.
What really made the difference was that she didn't expect me to fit into a system. We made one around my routines and it worked for me. She even showed me new ways to fold and organize my drawers. Mind blown.
I’ve been able to keep it up. Go me. I even make anti inflammatory meals in my new clean kitchen and do somatic exercises thanks to her.
I highly recommend this process with her. Game changer.
Kate has been my massage therapist for more than 25 years, dating back to when she toured with my band in the early 2000s. Over the years, she’s become someone I trust deeply - not just with my body, but with my family and space.

When I heard about her researching the connection between our environments and the way we feel, I asked her to come help me and the family.
What she created with us was unlike anything I’d experienced before.
She didn’t just organize our home. She took the time to understand how each of us thinks, what overwhelms us, and what systems would actually work for our family.
And somehow, my kids like having clean rooms now- and keep them that way. They say: “She just gets us, so it's easy.” Kate brings so much joy and calm into our home. My kids and dogs run to greet her every time she walks through the door.
She understands burnout because she’s lived the pace of it herself. She knows how to help people reset, rethink their spaces and routines and it makes everyday life feel brighter.

I initially found Kate for massage and at first thought that’s all she’d ever be to me - my go to person for working out the knots (which she is absolutely amazing at). Turns out she’s basically a wizard for every corner of your life.

She’s untangled the actual physical tension in my body for years. But then she came into my home and did the same thing for my space - decluttered it, organized it, and made it feel like somewhere I actually want to be instead of somewhere my stuff just goes to pile up. Then, if that wasn’t enough she took it outside and redesigned my interior and exterior landscaping too, because apparently there’s nothing this woman can’t touch and make better.
Also… do yourself a favor and pick up one (or three) of her candles. The candles are unreal. My house smells like it belongs in a boutique hotel now.
What I love most about working with Kate is that none of it feels transactional - she gets how your body, your home, and your nervous system are all tangled up together, and she treats all of it like it matters. If you’re on the fence about working with Kate, just do it. She’ll fix stuff you didn’t even know was stressing you out.

Kate is thoughtful, intuitive, and completely nonjudgmental. She understands that organization isn’t about perfection; it’s about creating a home that supports the people living in it. She has been an incredible source of stability and support through some of the busiest seasons of motherhood, and I truly can’t recommend her enough.

I’ve spent my career developing commercial and residential properties, including multifamily communities and luxury hotels. I’ve worked with a lot of designers, architects, and consultants over the years. Kate came into our family through trusted friends, initially helping us create more functionality and ease in an extremely busy household. What quickly became apparent was that she sees environments differently. She understands not only how a space looks, but how it makes people feel and how it can actually support the way they live.
That became especially clear when I challenged Kate to design a hydroponic living herb wall for the back of a luxury outdoor bar I was developing at one of our properties. We talked through the concept, materials, lighting, plants, and overall experience, and what she ultimately created was exceptional. In fact, her finished concept was better than anything the AI-generated designs we were looking at could produce. It was thoughtful, stunning, functional, and completely integrated into the environment.
Since then, I’ve brought Kate into other projects, including redesigning a couple of our lobbies, and I intend to continue working with her. She has a rare understanding of biophilic design and, more importantly, of the relationship between the environment and the human nervous system. She understands that when people enter a hotel, lobby, residence, or retreat, they’re experiencing how that space makes their body feel. The ability to create an environment where people naturally feel calmer, more grounded, and restored is incredibly valuable. Kate has that ability, and it sets her apart.

She routinely helps us clear out the kids rooms as they grow out of clothes and toys. Moreover, she is masterful at organizing and downsizing closets and drawers so that you can actually find the things you want to wear or get rid of because you’ll never wear it again. The beauty of her method is that she keeps you on task but is gentle. She is incredibly fun, positive and empathetic - she has a way of making you feel comfortable during a very uncomfortable process. Lastly, she can disperse your junk so you don’t have to! We can’t say enough great things about the life changing work Kate can help you do.

Our daughter is obsessed with the forest surrounding our home. She spends so much time out there 'forest bathing.' When she turned 15, she asked for a more grown-up bedroom that felt like a bougie hotel - But with the feeling of being in the forest.

I wasn’t exactly willing to tear down walls and add windows just to give her that experience, so when I heard about Kate as a Biophilic Designer, I decided to enlist her genius to figure out how to bring the forest inside and on a budget.
We also wanted the room to be something that could grow with her and become functional space that could transition into a guest room when she goes off to college. Because our daughter struggles with anxiety, we thought this was the perfect opportunity to create a calm nest for her.
Kate went above and beyond. She didn’t just design the room- she completely organized and transformed the space. The final result was beyond the vision we had created together - and we are still adding stuff.
Kate and her team are professional, incredibly efficient, thoughtful, and thorough throughout the entire process. Our daughter is thrilled. She says she feels like a grown up living in the forest. Her grades have gone up and anxiety has gone down.
Kate has a unique understanding of how deeply people and their environments are connected - and how going from red walls to a neutral space with dimmer lighting became safe and calm for a kid who really needed it.
We already have plans for other areas of our home and can’t wait to keep creating more Zen Zones with Kate.

I’ve known Kate in a lot of different capacities over the years. I’ve known Kate in a lot of different capacities over the years. We first met when she was our talent coordinator a TV show, and I remember the flowers she designed for our dressing room so much that I took them home for my wife. I also knew she was a massage therapist and seemed to wear a hundred different hats. Over the years, we’ve all been through a lot, and I don’t trust many people enough to let them into my home or personal space. Kate has earned my trust and proven herself to be someone I can completely rely on.
A couple of years ago, I heard more about what Kate was doing and asked her to help with my closet and our move. She somehow kept me calm when I was completely ready to freak out. Then we designed and organized our new home around the way we actually function, and it made a huge difference. I’m not constantly running around looking for things anymore- I know where everything is. I can actually sit with my family, turn the lights down and enjoy the water features, by the fire, with the breeze coming through the trees, and just be. We’ve moved onto organizing the cars, and have now asked her to tackle our tour buses next. Her methods are easy to maintain because they actually work with the way my brain works. Kate gets it. If you need to calm down and function better. Call her.
